Dre has been coming over on almost a daily basis for the last two weeks to work on music. I've been doing programming/engineering/production, while Dre's been supplying live bass & guitar, general composing, and arrangement. We spent the majority of yesterday working on the above demo. Its the first time I've produce a track with guitar using Ableton Live, or combined all of my various audio programs (Ableton, Reason, Guitar Rig, Reaktor) into a single project.

Since I'm working with Dre, and letting him take the general creative lead, of COURSE I'm using yet another band name: Skeleton Crew.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.

OMG, FotN was definitely the best part of WGT. My only complaint is that they didn't play Psychonaut or Sumerland, but other than that it was picture perfect. Nick's car was found outside a Federal Way condo yesterday, so I think its likely that he disappeared in that area. He has a pregnant wife and two kids at home. I really hope he's ok. This directly leads to other things, as iamtryingtobelieve.com is an actual site. This website and many others popping up with the same theme depict a very tortured, dystopic world.

A lot of the text of these websites appear garbled, but if you highlight them you can see them clearly.
